Parker Groom is a current dental student at Indiana University School of Dentistry and will graduate in the DDS Class of 2023. He is from Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Bio-molecular Sciences and his Master’s degree in Biochemistry. Parker is currently serving as the DDS 2023 Class Secretary and takes pride in his leadership roles in the IUSD Wellness Committee and the American Student Dental Association. He recently was appointed as a State Licensure Liaison where he will advocate for improved and ideal licensure exams in Indiana. Parker is part of the first class to take the Integrative Boards and is excited to apply what he has learned in his didactic and lab courses to clinic as he starts treating patients this summer.
