Dr. Laura Picano graduated with thesis and latin honors from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, minoring in prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Picano completed her residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital gaining experience is all aspects of patient care. Her research in oral biology has been published in multiple journals and presented at several national conferences. Dr. Picano serves locally on the dental society in many capacities. She serves on the peer review committee, and as the chair of the membership council. For the New York State Dental Association Dr. Picano is the membership committee and works statewide with other societies. Dr. Picano is also involved at the University at Buffalo as a chair for the Alumni Association. Dr. Picano currently owns a practice in East Amherst, New York.
