Dr. Gentiane Valiquette obtained her doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Montreal in 2014. She continued her training in the United States by completing a General Practice Residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York. Subsequently, she obtained in 2018 her Specialty Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) as well as a Master of Science degree from the same institution. Dr. Valiquette has been involved in several research projects during her time at UAB including investigations of bone grafting materials in a ridge preservation model and esthetic smile analysis. She works in private practice in Montreal, Laval and Blainville, in addition to being a clinical lecturer at the University of Montreal. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology as well as being a member of both American Academy of Periodontology and Canadian Academy of Periodontology.
